Las Ramblas

This a snap of Barri Gotic, a pretty area, just off Las Ramblas, a maze of narrow and quiet streets with some incredible Art Nouveau buildings. We didn't spend much time here much to our regret, there was simply too much to see and do in Barcelona. There are plenty of reasons to return to Barcelona which has now become one of my most favorite European cities.
I thought it'll be fun to take pictures of people as I stood and hung around Las Ramblas. It's a great place to do people watching. There is a myriad of all kinds of people passing through, it's a fascinating place.

There is this weird guy in leopard skin tights.

Fashionable people passed by all the time, they were some of the most beautiful people and they from all over the world.

They are either coming or going....

A gypsy woman, they are all over the city also.

A street act, a guy dressed as a fat lady in pink. He grabbed this passerby and hugged and kissed him and grabbed his butt. It was hilarious. There were all kinds of street acts all along Las Ramblas, some of them are so innovative. I never had so much fun. This drew the biggest crowd.

This is not a real fruit stand but a guy dressed as a fruit stand, another street act.

People, people and more people.

What a morning it was, all we did was hung out Las Ramblas after we visited La Boqueria, the famous market in Barcelona which we'll visit in my next post.
