Wandering around the cemetery we came upon huge bushes of thistles and feeding on the leaves were huge colonies of snails. These looked like the snails we've been eating except they're smaller. I'm sure when they become bigger, they'll be picked for the soup pots. In Spring the thistles and the other weeds grow abundantly because there is lots of moisture from the rains.
