Pastry

The place for pastries , or the place to eat pastries is in France. All kinds of delectable pastries abound, as is the case here in Normandy. Mont St Michel is in Normandy but we based ourselves in Rennes which is in Brittany. We found ourselves in Angelina, a cafe in Paris, later in our trip. It was crowded and there was a very very long line to ge seatd. We stood waiting for quite a while and of course, what do you eat when you are in Angelina's..... Mt Blanc and a hot chocolate. They make the best of both. The Mt Blanc was so rich, mmmmmm..... and the chocolate.mmmmm...... The other place in Paris to be seen in is any of one of the Laduree cafes. I remember Laduree from my first visit to Paris 12 years ago. I've been to Paris many times since and still love it each time. Like Rome, it's always crowded with visitors. We went to Monoprix, a supermarket chain in France and bought some cookies to bring home. I still have a packet left to remind me of the trip.
