Le Havre

Le Havre was bombed by the Allied forces during WWII. It was rebuild in a hodge podge of architectural styles. Its an absolutely boring place. I went because it was closed to Fecamp but left very soon after I discovered nothing that interested me.

Its a seaport and the major cruise lines dock here.
The guidebook said the Malraux may be a good place to see modern art but it looked quite empty. I'm too jaded to be bothered with a second rate art museum.

I had lunch at the restaurant of the Malraux museum, then left, walked the mile back to the train station.

Unless your cruise ship is docked at Le havre, don't go there.
