Here in the hills above the Kathmandu valley is a very important Buddhist temple complex called the monkey temple because of the numerous monkeys hanging out there. They don't bother you, they are just there monkeying around. To get to the top one walks the 365 steps. The main stupa is on top but at the entrance are a few smaller stupas. Colorful prayers wave merrily in the morning breeze as I arrived to commence my visit.
