Finally after the 365 steps I enter the temple complex at Swayambunath or monkey temple. It was an extremely busy place. Religion is very important among people in the East. As we become more and more westernized we view religion as less and less important.
The eyes of Buddha on top of the main stupa is all seeing.
Copper prayer wheels and this is a Buddhist temple complex.
Numerous prayer flags wave merrily all around.
There are little shrines all over. This place has a certain spirituality about it. Every one here is a true seeker.
