The roses of Turkey

The musk roses thrive in this part of Turkey. The mornings and evenings are cool but the midday sun is blazing. It drizzles every afternoon. There are fragrant roses everywhere. I was given this rose in a mini bus by this sweet girl. She had a whole bunch in a plastic bag which I asked her to take out and hold it up and pose for me. She was so sweet, she obliged.

The young Turkish girls are some of the loveliest in the world. I can't say that of the older women, they grow wide in girth and lose everything.

I took a picture of the roses on this guy's table.
When he left, I brought the vase to our table.
