Nomads

The grssland is so vast, it stretches for miles and miles into the horizon. Sometimes a nomad family could be found quite close to the roadside. Their herd os black haired yaks close to the black tents made from yak hair. Water from the snow melt is abundant here and this area is so blessed with water and grass.

It doesn't matter how far away is a temple, they will find a way to get there and it is the obligation of every family to set out the prayer flags wherever they are.
Sometimes they could supplement their income by trading, a little buying and selling on the side.

In the middle of nowhere is a little temple complex. We saw a few as our minivan drove by. All pictures were taken from a moving minivan and you can see the reflection from the van's glass window. The roads are bad and the van ride was so bumpy that it was hard trying to steady the camera.
