Pingle, by the river, is a pretty place.
They have these kind of dykes at various parts of the river to control the flow and allow the locals to play in the river.
Chengdu is landlocked and the only water the residents see are the rivers and the lakes. I don't know what that is like. I've always lived by the sea or the ocean. Growing up in Borneo we lived by the sea and here I live by the Pacific ocean.
