Well, I was on a quest, in February, to search for the places where the red anemones grow in profusion. Its the national flower of Israel and in Spring, they are all over the place. I found some in Be'er Sheva, though not as much as I expected. Most of its habitat have been destroyed by development. But here in Mt Carmel national park, they grow unmolested. I stayed the most part of the day just gazing at these red flowers. They were all over the park. What a treat.
