A cemetery and the Armenian genocide

Near the deserted Armenian village, is a cemetery and very likely a lot of these burials were of Christian Armenians. While we didn't stop, Bernd pointed out that a lot of the head stones has been removed and an ordinary rock replaced it, indicating a possible 'progrom' of sorts has occurred. Whoever did it probably wanted to remove all traces of the 'offending' crucifixes on these head stones. It indicates another explanation of the 'rejection of the cornerstone' written of in the Bible. I saw a video on YouTube where in one of the countries in Central Asia where a 3,000 year old Armenian cemetery was bulldozed and all the headstones were thrown into a river. It was a program undertaken by the government there.
The Armenian genocide was a systematic annihilation of the Christian Armenians living in Turkey, an order that came from the top in the Sublime Porte in Istanbul. I have a few books on the subject, all of which were first hand accounts and from survivors and observers..... 'while the men were being murdered outright, the women were subjected to extraordinary sexual violence....they were locked up in churches and the soldiers let loose on them.....they were outraged before they were butchered....no one, whether of gender or age was spared....' It was the first recorded genocide of modern history leading to more of such horrors...... the killing of innocent Cambodians by Pol Pot..... the mountains of skulls..... the Rwanda incident.... the Sudan.....the Nazi and the holocaust.....the Balkan wars....
