Going to a sky burial

 When we arrived at our hostel the evening before, we were asked if we were interested in attending a sky burial. We said ,'yes', we were hoping we will happen upon a sky burial. We were told to show up at the reception desk the next morning at 7am. Here we were, some 15 of us from the same hostel at the site. We waited for a few hours and at one point we started to leave when the funeral party finally showed up.

As we waited, we chatted among ourselves, we were from all over the world, Israel, England, USA, Holland, Poland, Spain.... it was fun, sharing travel stories and getting to know each other. A few of them would leave to go south after this and we met another couple in another town a few days later. This was the fun part, sharing stories with other travelers in the various hostels that we stayed in.
