Breakfast in St Catherine

My guide lives just at the base of Mt Sinai and the family raise camels too. Its a harsh environment but the living is easy. They seem contented and able to provide for their needs.

We called for my driver who was still sleeping in the camp, he came over and my guide's father cooked us breakfast. I saw him go to the chicken coop to get some eggs. These were the most yellow yolks I've ever seen. I hadn't eaten since lunch the day before and did not realize how hungry I was. It was so delicious and I ate.
We sat on rugs placed on the dirt floor of the patio. They press their own olive oil. What an experience, much more spectacular than a michelin starred restaurant.
