On my way to the St Catherine area

We follow the coast for a while.

We stopped for lunch in Nuweiba. It is a shanty town with lots of new development. The problem with the coast on the Egyptian side is the haphazardness. Eilat, on the Israeli side is well developed with even an airport right in the middle of town. The Egyptian side will suffer now that there are travel advisories all Europe regarding the dangers of being in Red sea coast of Egypt. The Egyptian government must send resources of security to this area.
My driver and me had fried calmer for lunch. We were both quite hungry. This would be my only meal for the rest of the day and evening and even for my climb of Mt Sinai.
Now we headed inland towards St Catherine....
