The whitewashed buildings with its blue trim makes it so distinctly beautiful. I need to have the exterior trim of my house painted this summer. I don't know what color to paint it. Blue, like the blue in Essaouira, maybe. Morroco has a very extensively Atlantic coast frontage and fishing is a huge industry. Essaouira sees less tourists than most places and therefore a much more pleasant place to just wander around. We didn't bump into any American sounding persons. I was glad. There's an increasing expatriate community here because of the glorious beach weather almost all year round.
