Wild, wild Morroco

Until we went to Essaouira which is at the Atlantic coast, we've been only in the mountains of Morroco. The coastal road gave us a different view to Morroco. Morroco has a very lengthy coastline adjacent to the Atlantic ocean. Much like California except our ocean is the Pacific ocean. Here we saw the sandy areas with wild flowers every where and those ubiquitous Argan trees. The Argan tree is very peculiar, it can withstand the most arid areas of Morroco and even in Summer, it still displays the greenest of leaves and in the south, one can see goats climbing onto Argan trees to feed off those leaves. Also it bears the Argan nut which Morrocans grind into Argan oil for use in cooking and cosmetics. In the Summer time, the green grass dies off and the only green are the Argan leaves and that's the only thing left for the livestock to feed on.
