The grit of California women

In this world we can't do anything without criticisms flying in our faces. We can't sail round the world alone at 16 without people questioning the soundness of our minds and that of our parents. We can't build one of the largest Internet companies (Ebay), go into politics without the pundits (women) asking if we're not pushing out the gains made by feminists. We can't be the female CEO of one the largest computer companies (HP) and go into politics without the disdain of so many people. The events of the past week has seen the true grit of some California women who dared to go outside the box and do something different. Maybe we'll be more liked if we just got drunk and have lots of sex. A book was written years ago, 'Fortune favors the bold'. It takes courage, lots of it, it takes energy, lots of it, to make it in this world. The events of the past week has shown us the stuff some California women are made of, courage and energy. Maybe California will be saved by California women....
