The appearance of apples and especially of crabapples always signal the arrival of Autumn. The days are getting shorter and whatever daylight we have is so precious. I leave the house for work in the dark and come home in the dark. It seemed that's what I've been doing all year. Summer was so short and fleeting. How do we make the moments last? There's still so many places in the world left that needs to be visited.
