Madrid, a brocante

We arrived in Madrid in the late afternoon and next to our hostal was a flea market in full swing. It has reminisces of a French brocante. There were a lot of lookers but we didn't see anyone buy anything. It's the case everywhere, not many people has the money to buy stuff anymore let alone buy junk. We were a little lighter on the purse strings this trip because the exchange was more favorable in our favor otherwise we'd be very tight too. We ate well after all these years of traveling where the Euro was always so high compared to the US dollar.
