Just found your blog and wanted to say it's lovely!
It's so wonderful of you to share all your travels with us!
I'd love to travel, but life circumstances won't allow right now. So, I make do with blogs like this!
I haven't caught up on all your travels, but your trips to Egypt and China are fascinating. These are two places I've always wanted to visit.
It's great to see the world and experience the vast array of cultures we have. You're very fortunate and blessed to have the time and money to travel.
Would you mind if I asked questions about older entries? For example, I was fascinated by the pictures, and stories about the Egyptians who live in tombs!
Did you kind of get used to it after a while, after seeing the families living normally? Or, did it still seem weird even after meeting the people who lived there?
I am so excited that you will visit Morocco. It is such a beautiful country to visit. I cannot wait until you post the pictures from your trip. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
To Adira I know some people think its taboo to photograph such poverty. I have no qualms, not that I don't care but I like to think I'm showing people who are even slightly curious that there are problems in the world. I am grateful that I escaped such poverty and I pray that the leadership in the world would work to create more equitable opportunities.
