Here is another tourist taking a picture of this old Anatolian woman. I've been chasing her up this steep hill trying to get a better picture of her. The thing to do is to ask and offer some money to take her picture. It is a taboo to them to have their picture taken. Sometimes they'll let you if you buy something from them. They wear the typical clothes, the scarf, the floral print blouse, usually long sleeves and the baggy 'Turkish' pants/skirt, remember MC Hammer? Anyone? It's the same pant/skirt, baggy and.... We'll see more Anatolian women and way of life the further East we go, later. It was one of the highlights of the trip.
