Quartier Habous, Casablanca

This looks like any mall in Southern California. This is the Quartier Habous, a new village in Casablanca kind of like the Beverly Hills of Casablanca. If not for the minaret, it could be Southern California.
Here is the cookie shop written up in the Lonely Planet guide. Again we were hardpressed trying to find things to do to fill the day. This is the premier shopping area in Casablanca. The vendors are not that pushy here unlike the ones in Fes and Marrakech. We bought some cookies and they let us take all the pictures we wanted.
