These women were friendly at first but sort of turned on us later. Maybe they were expecting something. There was a German couple when we arrived. The setting could not have been more perfect. It was a beautiful place. I am guessing that some priest while hiking and meditating decided it would be a perfect place to build a few churches, four to be exact. Now only one remained.
They have already set up shop, they have a vegetable garden right next to the church compound. They were tending to their crops when we arrived. Their later activity was cutting grass for fodder. Everywhere the locals were cutting grass for fodder.
Here some Campanulas are happily growing in the cracks of the building.
This is the outer cloisters with the roof missing from it but still amazingly stunning. It wasn't easy to find because the trees are overgrown and hides the church. The guy who brought us up in his truck knew where it was, he probably pass there everyday.
