Favorite pictures, 3 Casablanca

Markets have a way of capturing our hearts, it doesn't matter where they are, in France or China or in this case, in Casablanca, Morocco. It's hard to imagine that it's been a year now since we were last there. I love Morocco. I'd love to return but with so many places still to explore, I don't know when I'll go back to Morocco. They have the loveliest people in Morocco.
We drank a lot of tea in Turkey but a lot of mint tea in Morocco. They would stuff a whole sprig of mint into a glass, add a lot of sugar and tea and we drink this a few times a day. In fact, each time, we sit down, we'll be drinking some mint tea.

Morocco has the sweetest oranges. So if we're not drinking tea we would be drinking a huge glass of orange juice. They're so cheap and plentiful. In fact I can return just to eat tagine and drink orange juice.

This is a pretty poor section of town, it's near the fancy mosque and the luxury apartments that faces the Atlantic ocean. In fact, a few years ago the people rioted, against the govenment and against their living conditions. The Moroccan govenment are fast building the infrastructure for increased tourism so there'll be work for the people. We met young university students who prefer to emigrate to the USA because the US offers more incentive for getting rich. They all want to be some kind of Google or Ebay or Apple founder.
