Tahrir square, ground zero of the riots. Cairo, even on ordinary days, is a riot, of humanity and traffic and animals. There are horse and donkey carts traveling among the myriad of honking cars. It's dusty and noisy but one tolerates it because where else would you see the incredible glory of ancient Egypt. The Egypt of the pyramids, of King Tut, Queen Nerfeteri, and Ramses and all the rest. It's a pity the museum in Cairo is too small. It's one of the world's most important museum. I pray for a good outcome for Egypt and Egyptians.
