Pottery

Every country has their own pretty pottery. This so reminds me of Alsace, France and why not. The Alsatian area of France was part of Germany before. Turkey has its pretty Iznik tiles and patterns which is also made into household items and is absolutely pretty. I spent almost a whole day last week, sketching Iznik tile motifs. When one is bored, one does not have to go to a shopping mall and be tempted to spend money. You can do what I do..... doodle..... sketching tile motifs.
