A Berber village, up close
Here we are, stopping at a Berber village along the way to Ouirika valley. I couldn't help taking this picture of the traffic, these are all tourists' cars. They just stopped to take pictures of the valley below but our driver took us up to the village. We took pictures of the children, they were so sweet. The houses were made of unfired mud bricks. This was what we came to Morroco to see. Morroco has built a huge network of paved roads to welcome visitors. As Sophie remarked, the Morrocans looked much more prosperous than the Egyptians, they smile more and look more hopeful. Egyptians, for the most part are angrier and dour.
