I could have sworn that I took a picture of the head of a camel in the meat market of he souk in Fes. I can't find the picture but it was an awful sight. I'm glad the picture is lost. The meat market is not the most fascinating part, in fact, it was the area that shocked me, caused my claustrophobia and drove me out of the souk. I had to run out of there.
Berber rugs, supposedly made with vegetable dye but rumours has it they use chemical dyes as well.
