This is really hard work, we travel from place to place, no sooner have we arrive at any place, we have to repack and move on. Even during the day, we take day trips and spend as much daylight time as we can exploring. I am the one who make out the itinerary and execute it as the trip progresses. I'm surprised that I'm not a tour guide. If its Tuesday, this must be Marrakech! The fun is to be in a different place each time and meet different people every time. The fun is also looking at these pictures again and again and realise how happy we were doing it. I'd like a job like this, a paying job. This doesn't pay, in fact, we have to pay for it.
Our most memorable times during this trip were the times when we could interact with the local children. We had lots of invitation to take tea with the men but we've turned it down all the time. We don't know if they have any ulterior motives. But the children is a different story. One evening in Fes, we sat with the locals, I was writing in my journal, Sophie was sketching. The local kids, some little girls began to crowd around us to see what we were doing. They were laughing and carrying on, they wrote in French in my journal and signed their names. After they left, the little boys began to take their place and wanted to know what we were doing. We had a lot of fun. Here we are at a Berber village that our driver (he's looking on) took us. Sophie is showing photos of the kids she just took.
