We were here looking for the custodian of a church we wanted to see. The guy wasn't at home. We didn't get to see the church. But we got to look around this wonderful compound. There was an elderly Anatolian woman about the place. Bernd talked to her in Turkish, I guess she didn't know where the custodian went, otherwise we could have gone out to get him.
The living quarters were in the cleft above.
The bedroom in another cleft, not much privacy, no doors, I mean. Sometimes you don't need these things. We need so many things that a lot of people in other parts of the world do without... like indoor plumbing, doors on our bedrooms......
Maybe another time we'll be back to see this church. Just the same, it was a lovely visit, the place is so pretty.
