Night train

 We met 2 Americans on the train who took this picture. Here we were waiting for our train to open the doors to let us in.

 It was a carriage for 2, an upper bunk and a lower bunk. Unlike the night train we took last year, that one was a 4 person coach. I had wanted a 2 person car but there was none on the leg originating from Budapest. Its very expensive and probably no one could afford it leaving Budapest. This was Venice and the expensive 2 person carriages were all booked up.

I had the upper bunk. We arrived in Munich the next morning and lo and behold it was Oktoberfest once again, just like last year. But we had a connecting train for Fussen, so we didn't stay in Munich.
