Lunch time

The mini buses were all parked a little ways down the mountain and the only way to get to them is to walk quite a distance downhill from the monastery. We weren't sure of the way as we wlked down, I said, 'just don't ask me to climb back up!' It was the right way and as soon as we reached the bottom we saw them bringing out the fried trout. That was what we had for lunch plus the dolmas. Freshly fried farmed mountain trout. It was good with a lot of local 'ekmek' or bread. I love the bread, they are all baked in wood ovens and are so chewy and soft and stays fresh for days. The bread is so wonderful.
