Deep into the village hamlets are incredibly beautiful farm land. What a beautiful place to get lost in. The area has grown and are covered with lots of trees so that even the steeple of an Georgian church is hidden. The guide book said, 5 miles but after a long while we knew we were lost. So we told our driver to turn around and ask some villages. We did and they pointed the way but even then we couldn't locate the first church. I had that sinking feeling that the trip was for naught...... just then 2 little boys told us it was just in the trees near us. Phew!
