It's a common practice for houses near the Atlantic ocean to be whitewashed and painted with blue. I've seen it in Essaouira and also pictures of houses in Tangiers. It is so pretty and so lazy. I wonder how hot it gets here in the summer. We were here in March and the weather was just so lovely. I love those big metal doors, it's so Morrocan.
