More of Rabat

We'll be ending our tour of Morocco soon. This was the end of an incredible day and to end it in sleepy Rabat was so sweet. I feel sleepy just looking at these pictures of Rabat. For a capital city, it sure feels different. The pace is more frenetic in Casablanca. We arrived back in Casablanca at the wrong train station, at Casa Port station instead of Casa Voyageurs and this really nice young Moroccan told us to follow him, he'll get us a taxi to go to Casa Voyageurs. He found one that will take us for a lot less money. Mind you, it was rush hour. Then off we went into the most horrendous traffic, we even went the wrong way against traffic. All we could do was to hang on and hope we don't get hit, we were laughing the whole time, 'only in Morocco!' Finally we got to Casa Voyageurs, the nice young man refused to let us pay. He paid the taxi driver, wow, where in the world would this happen? We wanted to check the time of the train that will take us to the airport the next morning. I think they start as early as 6am, a train runs between the airport and the main train station. So if you arriving at the airport you can either arrange for your hotel to meet you or you can take the train to the main train station and from there go to Marrakech or to Rabat or just stay in downtown Casablanca. They have made it so easy for visitors, they want more visitors.
