The way, the movie

A few years ago I trained for the camino Santiago de Compostela but I ended up not walking it. This movie about the camino is opening in theaters this weekend. I intend to see it. I don't go to movies. The last movie I went to was 'The passion of the Christ'. I loved it and I loved the place where they filmed it. Matera in Southern Italy. After seeing the movie I visited Matera and to this day still have fond memories of that beautiful Italian village. Maybe after viewing 'The way' I might pick up my dream again to walk the camino Santiago de Compostela. I did visit the cathedral at Santiago de Compostela and I did go to St Jean Pied de Port, the starting point in France.
